Silver Series Planes

Designed for the Semi-Professional, DIY-er, Site or Modeller.  Built with the same quality and mechanism as the Gold Series, but lighter, the Silver Series planes have pressed steel bases to keep them lighter.

 

The Silver Series includes a Bench Plane, two Block Planes, and a Rebate Plane.

 

The blades used in these, as with all RALI planes, are ground with a single-bevel cutting edge to ensure the correct angle into the wood - see plane blades for more details

Lightweight Bench Plane

With a pressed steel base this has all the capability of the Gold Series 260L but without the weight.

Adjustable blade depth and backplate

Takes 48mm chrome and carbid esteel disposable double-edged blades, and 48mm re-sharpenable blade - see plane blades for more information

Supplied with one chrome disposable blade and one re-sharpenable blade.

This lightweight block plane has a 48mm wide blade.

Lightweight Block Plane

This block plane is light on the pocket as well as in weight!  It uses a narrow, 30mm blade, and fits comfortably in the hand for fine detail work.

Adjustable blade depth.

Takes 30mm chrome steel double-edged disposable blades.  Carbide blades are not available for this plane - see plane blades for more information

An optional leather holster is available to attach to a belt for convenience - see accessories

Launched this summer, this is a lightweight rebate plane with all the functions of it's bigger brother in the Gold Series.

Adjustable blade depth.

Blade can be moved side-to-side to set the cut right into the corner of the rebate.
